I had a comfortable room with access to a fantastic bathroom. The shower was like something out of the future! The hosts were welcoming and easily shared info on places to eat and things to see. I tried to do it all even after I left them. And, the sunrise was so wonderful! I highly recommend this B&B.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hill Haven.Our hosts were warm and welcoming.We were very pleased with our accommodation; spacious and very comfortable. The setting was perfect and Hill Haven was the perfect stopover on our journey back to England.

Set in stunning location of countryside with rolling hills, large bedroom with on suite, breakfast was very good with cereal, toast and cooked options.The hosts were excellent, welcoming and very informative on what’s around to visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stopover at Hillhaven. Fiona and Stephen were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They were also very attentive and informative with all their guests. The added bonus of a wee four legged friend was appreciated too.

This place was lovely. Stephen and Fiona were incredible hosts and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the triple room, which was spotless and perfect for three adults. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had the most magnificent views.

Fabulous location but put “Hillhaven b&b in sat nav otherwise the post code takes you to a farm. A little dated in the decor but it was very clean. Lovely comfy bed. Large room and bathroom. Brilliant breakfast. Very chatty hosts and full of great recommendations for our trip on the NC500. Would definitely stay again.

Was only one night but the hosts (Steven & Fiona, and of course Broxy) were very welcoming. Room was prepared to a high level and the breakfast was excellent. Great views.

Fiona and Steven were fantastic hosts! The breakfast was beautiful (and plenty of it) Nothing was too much trouble. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated.

We stayed at Hillhaven for two nights the bed was so so comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and the hosts were very kind and caring. The B&B itself was spotless and homely. We are on the NC500 but if we were ever looking to Stay in this are Hillhaven would be our first choice.

The stay was very pleasant. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are ensuite and we were served a complimentary Scottish breakfast. Highly recommended and easy to locate using Google maps. Secluded from the hustle bustle and located in the countryside. Good parking space for big cars as well. I could park a Toyota Verso easily. We turned up at 9pm only as we were running late but both the hosts were so welcoming. This gesture is highly appreciated. 8 mins/2.3 miles from Fortrose. Very close to the Chanonry light house and the fairy glen waterfalls. Even Though this is in the countryside there are enough takeaway food options in Fortrose and Avoch. Fish and chips, Chinese, deli,pizza, pubs, Indian and many more.

Fiona made us feel so welcome, our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious. We loved the super friendly dog and cat too! Would definitely recommend a stay here

We were made very welcome to this lovely B&B in stunning countryside. The owners are super attentive and gave us lots of useful advice regarding the places we wanted to visit. Highly reccomendable.

Remote but SO beautiful. The people are kind and helpful and everything is so picturesque. The town of Beauly is quaint yet the food is great. Would definitely recommend Lucky Ly takeout, but notice they are cash only.

The Host and Hostess were extremely helpful and kind.My wife had injured her ankle and was not able to move properly. Steven offered to upgrade our room to a sweet and beautiful cottage, and even lent us a crutch so that my wife can move around easily. They have a beautiful home. My wife, daughter and I felt very much at home. They shared with us places to visit. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved their little cat and dog too. A big thanks to Steven!

Friendly welcome from our host, Fiona, on arrival into their family home. Very informative on local attractions and places to visit.Twin bed room on main floor with bathroom across the hallway, which was not perhaps ideal.Choices for cooked and cold breakfast items were good. Short drive through country lanes to nearby Fortrose, where we were lucky enough to see a great show from the bottle-nosed dolphins at Chanonry Point. A highlight of our UK tour!

Hillhaven is a short drive from Fortrose, follow the B&B signs. Steve & Fiona are the perfect hosts,they were very welcoming and helpful with local places to visit and the best places to eat. The accommodation is very tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Good choice at breakfast and the full Scottish was excellent. Plenty of room to park the car.Steve showed us around their new Chalet, which is also gorgeous, should be online by now. Thank you

We really had an extraordinary time in Fortrose despite our short stay as a step towards our Highlands road. We wished we staid a whole week instead of one day. Our hosts were very nice and helpful, giving us advices and tips about our travel. We felt almost at home !

Very clean and tidy bedroom, lovely bathroom with excellent shower, comfortable bed. Breakfast was fresh and filling, and our hosts (Fiona and Stephen) really helpful and friendly. You”ll really need a car to stay here, because it would be a long schlep to Fortrose.

A friend and I stayed here overnight before flying back home. Beautiful location, friendly hosts, room and beds clean and comfortable. Good breakfast too with plenty of selection.Suited us perfectly.

We’re just on our way home from touring the West Coast of Scotland and have stayed in some really nice hotels and guest houses. Hillhaven Bed and Breakfast was one of the nicest B&B’s that we stayed at during our travels. Our room was very clean and had lots of modern appliances including a jacuzzi and a wide screen television. The views of the Fortrose Countryside from our bedroom were stunning. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay at Hillhaven Bed and Breakfast again.

Hillhaven is located at the top of a very panoramic view of the Fortross area.The home and our room was nicely decorated and extremely clean.Fiona was so helpful in reserving a table at the restaurant in town.She and her husband served a nice healthy breakfast in the morning along with good conversation.I recommend this B & B highly.

Fiona and Stephen are genuine, warm people who enjoy opening their beautiful home to guests. Nothing was too much trouble, they even made us a packed lunch to take to the airport for our early flight! Their home is beautiful and clean with great amenities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HillHaven or stay again - just for longer next time! Thank you!

Beautiful place with nice owner heavenhill

Spent 2 nights bed and breakfast at Hillhaven - everything was perfect. Good breakfast choice, friendly hosts, great location and very clean/comfortable.

we stayed for two nights and we can only highly recommend it.the B&B is in the countryside, only few minutes from Fortose by car (or a couple of mile walking uphill) and if using the car be aware that the satnav tends to get it wrong. but the nice lady at the farm we ended up to is used to this and will give you directions. The place is extremely clean and comfortable, breakfast was magnificent and the owners are really kind. I really recommend it.

The B&B was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good selection and the hosts very friendly. The B&B is in a good location close to the village (by car) and all the local tourist spots and golf course.

Firstly, Hillhaven is signposted from the town of Fortrose, which is useful as our satnav tried to leave us 2 miles away from it (we were approaching it from the north). We had the twin bedded room which is not en-suite but we did have our own bathroom across the corridor. The proprietors (Fiona & Steve ??) were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a view overlooking the local fields. The cooked breakfast was delicious and set us up for the rest of the day. It was recommended that we visited the Fairy Glen before we left which we really enjoyed.

This is a very comfortable, clean and friendly B&B, well placed for all of Black Isle and convenient even further to the west coast. Highly recommended.

We stayed over for just the one night because the B&B is very close to Inverness Airport. Good location very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hosts were very welcoming and the room was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was very good. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Basic,clean but,comparing it with B&B's in a similar price range in which we have stayed I think overpriced.

Tasteful accomodation, friendly hosts, perfect stay

This was an ideal wee B&B for us to base ourselves on our trip to the Black Isle.Lovely room and fab breakfast.You'll need a taxi or drive into Fortrose for dinner. We took a taxi both nights which was easy to organise.

We enjoyed our two day stay. The owners are very nice. Everything was fine. We will recommend to friends to go there. It's near from Inverness.

Beautiful house on the hills behind Fortrose. Very quiet, excellent hosts, comfy beds, yummy breakfast. Fiona had some good advice about getting dinner in town. Thank you, if I ever return to Fortrose, I will stay with you again.

Steve and Fiona were very welcoming hosts; accommodating and knowledgeable. Delicious breakfasts. Loved the spacious fully-equipped room, especially the Jacuzzi tub. Off the beaten path but close enough to town (less than 10-minute drive).Only negatives would be the dog smell when you first arrive (we got used to it pretty quickly) and no key given to visitors as there is no lock on the room door, so when we had gone out for a few hours, we came back to find the owner away and the main door locked. We had to wait an hour before she returned at 4pm (check-in time).Regardless, would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting the Black Isle. Wish we could've stayed longer.

First class, great hosts & nothing was too much bother, very helpful and friendly especially when my car had a problem and Fiona took the family down to to dolphin watching area and Stephen made me a coffee waiting on the AA.

We recently spent a night at Hillhaven when visiting Fortrose for a friend's golden wedding. We would very warmly commend Hillhaven to anyone looking for a hospitable, comfortable and beautifully located B&B in the area. It was a pleasure to be there; and, especially, to enjoy a delicious breakfast looking out over those beautiful fields and hills in the morning sunshine. Hillhaven is very well situated for exploring the wonders of a huge part of northern Scotland.

The standard of the rooms, the attention to detail and the wide choice at breakfast makes this somewhere you want to go to again.We had a beautiful room, spacious with an additional "dressing room" with tea and coffee facilities. Not fiddly sachets but full tea and coffee jars -just like home. The bathroom was also lovely, really large with every complimentary extra you could imagine!Breakfast had two fish choices as well as the enormous Scottish breakfast! Lots of choice.Set in fields above Fortrose. Lovely place loely people and such a high standard!

I'm not a fan of B&B but was convinced to tryit by my wife. And I was not disappointed. Very friendly and homely atmosphere, room was of a 5 star standard and the breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Although we only stayed at Hillhaven for one night, the hospitality was second to none. Great hosts, great food, a superb location and a lovely comfortable room!

Stayed in this lovely B & Bfor 2 nights. Set in a beautiful country location. Theroom in the picture is the room we stayed in , it was very clean and comfortable. Fiona and Stephen were very welcoming and attentive. We were there to visit Chanonry Point to see the dolphins and Stephen advised us of the best times to see them. The B & B was very nice inside and out, the decor was modern and soothing.Nothing was too much trouble,Fiona gave us information and some history on local walks.Everything about the experience we had at Hiillhaven was very informal, friendly and relaxing, we would definitely recommend Hillhaven, and intend returning next year.

My stay at Hillhaven was excellent. The room was definitely well above standard - at least 4 if not 5 star as there were so many features.I was very impressed with the bathroom that had a Jacuzzi bath and separate power shower .I would highly recommend this B&B and also the area as it is very beautiful and would make a wonderful weekend break.I'll be taking my husband next time so that he can share the lovely experience I had.

I searched online for a B&B near Fortrose and came up with Hillhaven. Thankfully I know the area a little and it is well sign posted as it is a little off the beaten track.The location is wonderful and the silence is deafening. The rooms are modern, fresh and tastefully decorated and could easily pass military inspection for being clean.The owners are friendly and welcoming with a very helpful and positive bearing.The breakfast is the best choice I have seen in many a year and the portions set you up well for the day.While the tariffs are not the cheapest around they are far from the most expensive either. In my opinion it is well worth every penny and I would certainly stay there again. I highly recommend Hillhaven to anyone visiting the Fortrose area and looking for a first class B&B.

Having perused the Fortrose accommodation website we chose Hillhaven, and could not have made a better choice.Excellent accommodation in a lovely house with 360 degree amazing viewswe were made to feel extremely welcome by our hospitable hosts.It was more than value for money.
